these unusual beads are faux tortoise shell from the early part of the 20th century, collected from the african trade. they remind me very much of the roaring 20s, and this necklace is a long strand with gold vermeil and faceted black glass. the clasp and findings are gold plated. this necklace can be worn long or doubled as shown. wear with earrings SFE64.
